Warsaw Noir 01
Warsaw has an incredebly unique character. Compared to the rest of Poland it’s a true metropolis - underground, national and international links, you can hear many different languages, skyscrapers dominate the downtown, cusine from all around the world, you can always count on vegan options; yet compared to the cities of west like Berlin, London, Milan, it’s small, compact and calm.
And you can still see and feel the marks that the Nazis and Soviets left on the city. The post-war housing blocks, the monuments and remembrance plaques of wartime heros. Not many places in the world where you can have a coffee or a cocktail at the site where the Uprising once sparked.
